Automotive air charter protects production lines: press tools, body parts, batteries, prototypes and complete engines. The mission is planned backwards from the line stoppage time, and battery or prototype shipments carry their own classification and confidentiality requirements.

Broker, not operator

Cargo Charter Network does not operate aircraft and employs no flight crew. Every flight is performed by a licensed operator we source, compare and coordinate.

Operator selection

Operators are checked for AOC validity, insurance, aircraft configuration and route authority for the specific mission before a price is put in front of you.

One accountable contact

The same person handles sourcing, contract, permits, handling and flight watch, so there is no handover gap between quote and arrival.

What we will not do

We do not quote capacity that has not been checked with an operator, and we do not confirm acceptance of restricted commodities before the operator has accepted them in writing.

Operational detail

Line-stop logic

The cost reference is production downtime per hour. We quote against arrival time at the plant, including road legs and customs.

Returnable packaging

Rack geometry and return flows change the aircraft and the economics. Round-trip structures are worth modelling on recurring lanes.

Battery and DG content

Lithium cells, airbag units and pyrotechnic components move under DG rules and need acceptance screening before booking.

Pallet and container build-up, load spreading, lashing plans and guidance where packaging would fail an operator acceptance check.

Pre-carriage, on-carriage, air-ride equipment where needed, low-loaders and permitted road routes for outsize crates.

Overflight, landing and cabotage permits, airport slots, night curfew handling and diplomatic clearances where they apply.

Line-down logistics

An automotive charter is usually bought against a stopped production line. The relevant clock starts at the supplier gate and ends at the plant, so trucking, customs and plant receiving hours belong in the plan from the first call.

Typical loads are press tools, injection moulds, jigs, prototype assemblies, battery modules and aftersales parts, often with dangerous goods classification attached.

Choosing airports around the plant

The nearest airport is not always the fastest. Freighter handling, customs hours, night curfews and the road leg to the plant frequently make a slightly more distant airport the better answer.

For recurring launch phases we hold a lane plan so the next flight can be triggered without rebuilding the analysis.
