What we ask for

Which details matter — and why

The more precise the input, the firmer the options. If something is missing, send the request anyway — the desk closes the gaps on the call.

01

Origin and destination airport

IATA or ICAO code, or the city. The airport drives slots, night curfews, handling equipment and therefore a large share of the price. An alternate field 80 km away can make a rotation materially cheaper.

02

Ready date

The day the cargo is packed, documented and available for collection at the departure airport — not your desired arrival date. A realistic ready date avoids waiting time that is billed as aircraft standby.

03

Weight and pieces

Gross weight including packaging, pallets and securing material. Payload and volume together set the aircraft class: light bulky cargo consumes volume, heavy compact cargo consumes payload.

04

Dimensions per piece

Length, width, height and weight per item type. As soon as a single piece exceeds a freighter's door envelope, half the fleet drops out — which is why a rough estimate beats an empty field.

05

Dangerous goods

Batteries, paints, aerosols, chemicals and engines with residual fuel fall under the IATA DGR. UN number and class govern loadability, segregation and approvals. “Unclear” is a valid answer — the desk clarifies the classification.

06

Temperature and handling

CRT, COL, FRO or a custom range, plus requirements such as cool chain on the ground, lashing plans, crane needs or attendants. These points determine stations, equipment and ground times.

No. The form works without registration. A business account is optional and adds status tracking and document exchange in the portal; verification is usually the same business day.
