Introduction

No fleet to fill
Cargo Charter Network does not operate aircraft. That is the point. We source, compare and structure across the worldwide freighter market, then coordinate the mission through a single accountable contact.
Freighter and ACMI capacity sourced across every region, from turboprops through IL-76, Antonov and main-deck wide-bodies.
Every mission is priced against multiple operators against payload, range, permits and handling acceptance.
Ad-hoc, part, split, series, back-to-back, sub-charter and long-term ACMI programmes.
Services
(06)Direct to operator
One brokerage layer, not three.
In air cargo charter it is common for a requirement to travel through several intermediaries before it reaches the aircraft operator. Each layer adds its own commission to the same flight. We work directly with operators, so the quote you see carries one commercial layer.
Typical chain
- 01Shipper or forwarder issues the requirement
- 02Broker A takes the enquiry, adds margin
- 03Broker B or C is asked for capacity, adds margin
- 04Operator finally quotes the flight
With Cargo Charter Network
- 01You submit the requirement once
- 02We approach operators directly from our network
- 03You receive comparable options with one accountable contact
No stacked commissions
The requirement is not passed sideways to other brokers who each need to earn on the same lift.
No cost on top for you
We are remunerated by the operator. Our involvement does not add a separate fee to your charter price.
Faster and cleaner information
Payload, dimensions, ready date and airport constraints reach the operator unchanged, instead of being relayed through several desks.
Real comparison, not one option
Because we source across operators ourselves, you see the realistic market for that routing rather than whatever one intermediary could reach.
Availability, pricing and acceptance always remain with the operating carrier. Where a requirement can only be served through a partner, we say so before you decide.
Price indication
What does an air cargo charter cost?
Set the mission parameters and get a realistic market range in seconds — non-binding, before you speak to anyone.
- 01Ranges reflect current charter and ACMI market levels, updated against live quoting.
- 02Benchmark: ~100 t of perishables Nairobi–Liège roundtrip currently trades around US$450–550k on B747F-class lift.
- 03Intercontinental missions from non-hub origins carry significant positioning cost — long-haul estimates include it.
- 04A firm figure always follows an operator check — availability, positioning and fuel decide.

Typical lanes
Where charter demand usually runs.
These are typical air cargo charter traffics, not a scheduled network. We are an intermediary: aircraft, routing and capacity come from the operators we source from.
- Hong Kong (HKG) to Anchorage (ANC) — transpacific freighter corridor
- Shanghai (PVG) to Los Angeles (LAX) — transpacific general cargo
- Frankfurt (FRA) to New York (JFK) — time-critical and AOG
- Leipzig (LEJ) to Dubai (DXB) — express and industrial cargo
- Miami (MIA) to São Paulo (GRU) — Latin America traffic
- Istanbul (IST) to Lagos (LOS) — Africa traffic

The questions charter buyers actually ask
Charter basics
Operational answers straight from the charter desk, not marketing copy.
An air cargo charter is a freighter aircraft contracted for one specific movement or a defined programme, instead of buying space on a scheduled flight. The buyer controls the routing, the departure window and the loading plan, and the aircraft flies when the cargo is ready rather than when the network schedule allows. Charter is used when the cargo is too heavy, too large, too urgent or too sensitive for scheduled capacity, or when an entire production line depends on one delivery date.
Cargo CharterA full charter contracts the entire cargo capacity of the aircraft for your mission, so routing and timing follow only your requirement. A part charter combines several shippers on one aircraft when commodity, routing and timing are compatible, and the cost is shared pro rata against weight and volume. A series charter is a repeating rotation over weeks or months, typically used for perishables, e-commerce peaks and industrial ramp-ups, and is priced against the whole programme rather than a single flight.
Cargo CharterA broker sits between the cargo and the operators. We take the requirement, size it against aircraft types, request availability from operators that hold the right approvals for your routing and commodity, compare the offers on payload, timing, permits and total landed cost, and then coordinate slots, handling and documentation once you commit. Because we do not own aircraft, the aircraft recommendation follows the cargo rather than a fleet that has to be filled.
AboutNo. Cargo Charter Network is an independent brokerage. We do not operate aircraft, we do not employ flight crew and we hold no fleet exposure. Every flight is performed by a licensed operator under its own air operator certificate, and our role is sourcing, commercial structuring, coordination and a single accountable point of contact for the mission.
AboutExpedited air freight is still scheduled capacity with priority handling, so it depends on the airline's flight plan, available space and any offload risk at transit points. A charter removes both the schedule and the offload risk, because the aircraft is contracted for your cargo alone. Where a shipment is too large for a scheduled main deck, or where a single day of delay costs more than the flight, charter is usually the cheaper answer in total cost terms.
Air Freight CharterYes, subject to runway length and strength, ground handling capability, fuel availability, customs status and overflight or landing permits. Remote fields are routinely served with ramp-loading types such as the IL-76 or turboprops, while limited handling equipment can be compensated with self-loading aircraft or portable loaders. The feasibility check is done before any price is quoted, because an aircraft that cannot be turned around at destination is not a real option.
